Patriots acquired OLB/DE Derrick Burgess from the Raiders in exchange for 2010 third- and fifth-round draft choices. If the Pats acquire a fifth-rounder, that pick will replace the fourth-rounder.
The Pats swoop in to pluck another disgruntled Raider, but this one looks like a fair deal for both teams. The Eagles were reportedly in the mix as well, offering a third-round pick and a player.
