A jury has convicted a man for the attempted murder of ex-Jaguars OT Richard Collier in September of 2008.
Tyrone Hartsfield, 33, could serve as long as life in prison for the six gunshots that left Collier paralyzed, ending his NFL career. "I feel like I didn't receive a fair trial," said Hartfield, composing himself after "going into hysterics" in court. Collier knocked out Hartsfield in a bar brawl months prior to the shooting, so he had a motive. All six shots were to Collier's back. |
