NFL.com's Jason La Canfora reports that Anthony Gonzalez has a "chance" to return in Week 12 against the Texans.
La Canfora confirms the obvious -- that Gonzo won't play Sunday against the Ravens -- but says he is "expected" to resume practicing next week. Gonzalez would be just three weeks removed from knee surgery in Week 12, so the Colts definitely wouldn't immediately reinsert him into the starting lineup. We'd bet heavily against him helping anyone in the fantasy playoffs as well.

 Anthony Gonzalez-WR - Colts Nov. 20 - 8:47 am et

Though Anthony Gonzalez insists he's close to returning from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, he's expected to miss at least two more games.
"I felt like I was close the last time," Gonzalez said. "So in that sense, it's a little hard to say. I do feel the 'scope I had helped a lot." Gonzalez did not offer a return date, though, and the Colts have yet to set a timetable. With Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie playing well, Gonzalez has not been missed this season. The Colts have no reason to rush him back.

Cotls declared WR Anthony Gonzalez, K Adam Vinatieri, QB Jim Sorgi, CB Kelvin Hayden, S Aaron Francisco, OG Tony Ugoh, OG Mike Pollak and TE Tom Santi inactive for Week 10 against the Patriots.
Pierre Garcon will again start at flanker for the Colts. Gonzalez (knee) might not be ready to contribute until Week 12 or 13.

Anthony Gonzalez (knee) has been ruled out for Week 10.
Pierre Garcon will continue to start at flanker. Gonzalez remains out indefinitely and shouldn't be on rosters in 10- or 12-team leagues.

Colts beat writer Philip B. Wilson doesn't envision Anthony Gonzalez (knee surgery) being "back to his normal self by season's end."
"He's been out so long," Wilson writes. "Maybe he can be, but it just seems unlikely." We agree. Safely drop Gonzalez in 10- and 12-team leagues.

Anthony Gonzalez underwent arthroscopic right knee surgery Thursday to clean out loose particles.
The Colts never confirmed if Gonzalez's PCL was torn or merely sprained, nor did they disclose whether he underwent surgery after originally sustaining the injury. The surgery is an obvious setback. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Gonzalez will be out another 2-3 weeks, but that's a highly optimistic projection. The undefeated Colts could easily hold Gonzalez out until very late in the season. They won't miss him with Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon playing so well.
