After FS Reggie Nelson was beaten for two touchdowns in the Jags' Week 15 loss to Indianapolis, coach Jack Del Rio called him out on Friday.
"Can't stay in the lineup playing like that," said JDR. It's nothing new, but Nelson refused to tackle Reggie Wayne on his 65-yard game-winning score, trying instead to pop the ball loose on a race down the sideline. If Wayne and Nelson's forty times were to be compared, there's no doubt that Nelson should've caught him. Nelson's regression over the last two years continues. Source: Michael C. Wright on Twitter
