HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 5'11' / 215
DOB: 4/22/1986
AGE:23
COLLEGE:California
CONTRACT INFO: 7/27/2007: Signed a six-year, $18.935 million contract. Details
 Bills Offense-TM- BillsJan. 27 - 4:12 pm et
Bills named Curtis Modkins offensive coordinator and running backs coach.
Modkins will take a backseat to offensive-minded Chan Gailey in terms of game planning, but hiring the former line coach is another indication that Buffalo will lean toward a run-first approach instead of the Pistol Spread Gailey installed in 2008 with Kansas City. While Fred Jackson figures to keep the starting job, the Bills will likely need two backs for the scheme to work, increasing the odds that Marshawn Lynch lasts another year.

 Marshawn Lynch-RB - Bills Jan. 13 - 10:13 am et

The woman that Marshawn Lynch allegedly stole $20 from at a TGI Friday's last month does not want criminal charges pressed against the running back.
"There's a fine line between a guy doing something criminal and acting like a jerk, and that is what we are dealing with here," police said. The incident is no longer considered a police matter, but it's another embarrassing moment in Lynch's spiraling career.

Marshawn Lynch is facing allegations that he stole $20 from a woman at a TGI Friday's restaurant last month.
That's right. Lynch, playing on a $19M contract, is accused of stealing a measly $20. Unfortunately for Marshawn, the woman he allegedly stole the money from is married to a Buffalo Police Sgt. Lynch continues to be the subject of negative off-field news, and with the emergence of Fred Jackson as a better player, the Bills likely are already thinking of moving on from him.

A woman that was injured in the spring of 2008 when Marshawn Lynch struck her with his SUV has filed a suit that claims Lynch was drunk at the time and she was permanently injured.
The woman is seeking undisclosed financial damages. Lynch's lawyer has already denied that the running back was drunk. Back in June of 2008, Lynch pled guilty to a traffic violation and was fined $100 for driving off without helping the woman. Lynch was not charged with driving while intoxicated.

 Fred Jackson-RB - Bills Jan. 4 - 11:29 am et

Fred Jackson became the first player in NFL history to rack up at least 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 yards on kickoff returns in the same season.
His 2,516 combined yards are the fourth highest total in NFL history. It's time to consider Jackson's starting job permanent as opposed to a temporary benching for Marshawn Lynch. While the roles won't be finalized until the new coach evaluates the backfield, F-Jax is clearly the superior player.

 Marshawn Lynch-RB - Bills Jan. 3 - 5:02 pm et

Marshawn Lynch ran just once for zero yards and caught a two-yard pass in the Bills' Week 17 win over Indianapolis.
Lynch wraps up his bust of a third year in the league with a career-worst 3.75 YPC average. He touched the ball just 14 times in the Bills' last three games after losing his starting job to Fred Jackson. Buffalo may entertain trade offers for Lynch this offseason. He is only due an $885K salary in 2010, so he'll be appealing. Assuming the Bills' new coaching staff doesn't want to install a two-back offense (which is still very possible), they could probably get a third-round pick for the 23-year-old.
