Texans agreed to terms with LB Buster Davis on a one-year contract.
Davis has been dropped by three teams in two years since getting taken by the Cardinals in the third-round of the 2007 draft. There's no reason to think Davis will make an impact on his fourth stop.

The Texans have expressed interest in free agent LBs Buster Davis and Tyjuan Hagler.
Their price tags figure to be cheaper than Cato June's, who Houston hosted for a visit on Wednesday. Davis was cut by Indianapolis earlier this week. Hagler can play special teams and either outside linebacker position.

The Colts have reportedly waived LB Buster Davis.
The timing is odd considering Davis was just re-signed two weeks ago, but Davis was a disappointment while filling in for Gary Brackett late in the season. He's going to have to battle for a roster spot no matter where he lands next.

Colts re-signed exclusive rights free agent LB Buster Davis and RB Lance Ball.
Davis was a liability in some late-season starts last year and is unlikely to get that opportunity again. Ball could find a place on the practice squad.

Coach Tony Dungy announced Wednesday that Buster Davis, not Freddie Keiaho, will be the Colts' starting middle linebacker while Gary Brackett (ankle) is out.
This is a stunner, as Davis has been scratched healthy for most of the season. Still, he should be high on IDP waiver priority lists. Brackett is out for roughly one month with a fractured bone in his lower leg area. Teams figure to run right at Davis because he's played in just three career games.
