Rice and Smith were first-ballot locks. Jackson is the first player in Saints history to be elected. Former Broncos RB Floyd Little and former Lions CB and current Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau join them as the seniors committee selections. Andre Reed, Shannon Sharpe, Dermonti Dawson, Richard Dent, and Cortez Kennedy made the final 10, only to be eliminated Saturday.
