Falcons placed CB Chris Houston (hamstring) on season-ending injured reserve.
Houston has been dealing with the injury since early this month. In a season where four different players started at left corner, Houston held down the right side. The Falcons will make cornerback a priority in the draft, though Houston's job is likely safe for one more season.

Falcons declared CB Chris Houston, third quarterback John Parker Wilson, WR Troy Bergeron, FB Verron Haynes, TE Jason Rader, TE Keith Zinger, RG Harvey Dahl, and DL Jamaal Anderson inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Matt Ryan and Michael Turner are both starting even though the Falcons are out of the playoff chase. Houston is the Falcons top corner and he'll be replaced by the burn-able Brent Grimes. Chauncey Davis starts in place of Anderson.

Falcons CB Chris Houston (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints.
It's a blow to a Falcons' secondary that has been absolutely decimated by injuries this season. Drew Brees is the best fantasy option at the quarterback position this week by far.

Falcons CB Chris Houston suffered a hamstring injury against the Eagles Sunday and did not return.
It's unclear if Houston could have returned if the game wasn't a blowout. The Falcons will need him desperately against the Saints next week.
