Colts LT Tony Ugoh left Sunday night's game with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.
The Colts are wrapping up a blowout win in Tennessee and there's no point in risking further injury. It's doubtful we see Ugoh return to the field.

After demoting him in favor of Charlie Johnson, the Colts plan to use Tony Ugoh as a "swing" tackle behind RT Ryan Diem and LT Johnson.
The Colts traded a up to draft Ugoh in the 2007 second round, but have grown tired of his lack of durability. They're still accepting a big downgrade in terms of athleticism going with Johnson on Peyton Manning's blind side.

 Charlie Johnson-T - Colts Aug. 10 - 11:48 am et

Colts coach Jim Caldwell named Charlie Johnson his starting left tackle on Monday.
This is a surprise. Johnson stepped in while Tony Ugoh was injured last season, but Ugoh was expected to regain the job for 2009. Colts fans better hope the coaches are just trying to light a fire under Ugoh because Johnson isn't starting caliber.

Colts LT Tony Ugoh revealed that he underwent offseason knee surgery.
He's back practicing, so the routine operation is no longer a concern. Ugoh, entering his third season as Indianapolis' left tackle, has been beset by nagging injuries as a pro. They've cost him nine starts in two years.

Colts offensive line coach Howard Mudd has decided to retire, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Mudd, 67, is upset over the NFL's pension-plan changes for non-players. He coached Indianapolis' line for 12 years, routinely turning late-round and undrafted players into starters. A 33-year assistant, Mudd had been the longest tenured active coach. He'll be replaced by assistant Pete Metzelaars.
