Rams placed WR Laurent Robinson (fractured fibula) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Robinson showed legitimate starting ability in the first three weeks, but he's now had two straight seasons cut short due to injury. He's under contract for one more season, but the Rams may not be able to count on him as a starter going into next season.

Laurent Robinson is done for the season with a fractured fibula and a high right ankle sprain.
Robinson was easily the Rams' best pass catcher in their first three games, but he has been injury prone throughout his three-year career. Keenan Burton, who is purely a possession receiver, will move into the starting lineup. It's a major downgrade, and will make St. Louis' offense easier to defend.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Rams WR Laurent Robinson has an MCL injury that could be serious.
The injury was originally announced as an "ankle." An MCL sprain would likely cost Robinson 2-3 games at least, and an extensive tear might require surgery. Keenan Burton is next up on the Rams' wide receiver depth chart.

Laurent Robinson caught two passes for 26 yards before leaving the game with an ankle injury in Week 3.
Robinson was once again the favorite target for Marc Bulger before they both got hurt. He was targeted five times in the first half before he left. If Robinson is out for an extended period of time, the Rams will be starving for some wide receiver depth, as they only had four active on Sunday. Keenan Burton stepped in and recorded three catches after Robinson left.

Laurent Robinson left Sunday's game against the Packers with an apparent lower right leg injury.
Robinson had his leg rolled over when he was blocking on a run by Steven Jackson. He has clearly been the Rams' No. 1 receiver and a fantasy surprise, but we will see if he returns to this one. Keenan Burton steps in to the first-team offense.

Laurent Robinson hauled in six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' Week 2 loss to the Redskins.
Robinson dominated the Redskins' secondary with his size and speed, accounting for nearly half of the Rams' total receiving yards. In the second quarter, he snagged a beautiful end-zone fade from QB Marc Bulger, skying high over Washington CB DeAngelo Hall. Robinson has collected 141 yards on 11 catches in the 2009 season's opening two weeks.
