Panthers DE Charles Johnson (pectorals) is listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game against the Dolphins.
Johnson is an integral part of Carolina's nickel defense, so his absence will affect the team's pass rush. He has three sacks and a pair of forced fumbles on the year. Even with Ronnie Brown out, Carolina will likely struggle to halt Miami's offense. The Panthers were already very poor in run defense.

Panthers DE Charles Johnson was added to the team's injury report on Monday with a pectoral injury.
Johnson is normally a key backup for the Panthers, but on Sunday he started and played most of the snaps since Julius Peppers was dealing with a hand injury. Johnson has 18 tackles and three sacks this season.

Tyler Brayton opened Panthers camp as the team's starter at left end.
Speedier DEs Charles Johnson and rookie Everette Brown will have plenty to say about this. Brayton is coming off a career best 4.5-sack season, but Johnson had six while playing off the bench and Brown led the ACC in sacks.
