The Giants confirmed Sunday that Ahmad Bradshaw will undergo surgery to repair stress fractures in both of his feet.
He'll also have bone spurs removed from an ankle, so it will be a surgery-filled offseason for the 24-year-old (in March). The lower-leg injuries clearly hindered Bradshaw down the stretch, and will probably further convince the Giants that he's no more than a change-of-pace back heading to 2010.

Ahmad Bradshaw rushed seven times for 13 yards and caught two passes for 33 yards in Week 17 against the Vikings.
Bradshaw played the season finale despite a foot injury that will reportedly require surgery. He came up just shy of 1,000 total yards and scored seven times, although most of his big production came early in the schedule.

Both Ahmad Bradshaw (ankles, feet) and Justin Tuck (knee) will play on Sunday in Minnesota.
Bradshaw didn't practice at all this week and his status looked bleak entering Sunday, but it appears he will give it a go. He'll likely start the game. Danny Ware and Gartrell Johnson will also be involved, but Bradshaw should lead the team in touches. He's New York's best option in the backfield, and coach Tom Coughlin isn't one to lay down even with nothing to play for on paper.

Giants beat writer Ralph Vacchiano doesn't expect Ahmad Bradshaw (ankles) to play Sunday.
Vacchiano says that if Bradshaw does play, he expects just a few carries before giving way to Gartrell Johnson. Danny Ware will also be involved. At this point, you have to bench Bradshaw.

Ahmad Bradshaw said on Thursday that he thinks he "more than likely" has a broken bone in his left foot now, in addition to the broken bone in his right one.
"My style of running is kind of hard on broken feet," said Bradshaw. He hasn't gotten official word yet, but he said he feels the same discomfort he has in his right one in his left one now. After the season is over on Sunday, Bradshaw will have surgery to put screws in the sides of his feet and have bone spurs removed from his right ankle. He is listed as questionable for Week 17 and may sit out.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot, questionable) was held out of Giants practice Friday.
This is a downgrade from last week, when Bradshaw didn't practice at all but was listed as probable on the injury report. The Giants have not expressed concern about Bradshaw's status, but he's no sure thing to play against the Vikings. With Brandon Jacobs (knee) already out, Danny Ware and rookie Gartrell Johnson would share the backfield if Bradshaw was to miss the game.
