DE Copeland Bryan left the Lions' Week 6 loss to the Packers with a leg injury and did not return.
The Lions were so thin that starting offensive guard Stephen Peterman was forced to play on the defensive line in goal line packages. Bryan is expected to be ready when the Lions come out of their bye.

Lions claimed DE Copeland Bryan off waivers from the Bills.
At 6'4/240, Bryan is very undersized, so the Lions may try him at outside linebacker. They are pretty thin on the strong side behind Julian Peterson.
