Matt Ryan has been ordered to rest his turf toe for the next several weeks, but is expected back in full for the March offseason program.
After finishing as the No. 15 overall fantasy QB in his rookie year, Ryan plummeted to No. 19 as an NFL sophomore. Much of his fall had to do with the injury, which cost Ryan two games and limited him in two others. Ryan still threw for 22 TDs and is an ideal buy-low target in dynasty leagues.

Matt Ryan completed 23-of-35 passes for 223 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions against the Bucs in Week 17.
It was up-and-down performance for Ryan with the two picks offset by the two scores and a beautiful floater to Michael Jenkins on a fly route. Though he managed six more touchdowns with an increase in pass attempts this season, Ryan was a fantasy disappointment, finishing 19th among quarterbacks. It sets up a fine opportunity to buy low in Dynasty leagues this offseason.

Matt Ryan (questionable, toe) was limited in Falcons practice Friday.
Ryan remains on track to start Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Matt Ryan (toe) returned to a limited practice Thursday, as expected.
Ryan will start against the Bucs Sunday. He might be without Tony Gonzalez (calf), but the Falcons are playing to win the game and Ryan is a solid play for leagues that go through Week 17.

The Falcons will hold Matt Ryan (turf toe) out of Wednesday's practice, just as they did last week.
The plan is again for Ryan to practice on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday, and start at Tampa Bay. Ryan threw for three touchdowns against Buffalo on Sunday, in addition to 250 yards. He's finally getting healthy.

Matt Ryan completed 18-of-35 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns against the Bills in Week 16.
Ryan hooked up with Roddy White twice and Marty Booker once for the three scores against a Bills defense missing rookie ballhawk Jairus Byrd. Despite missing two games, Ryan has managed 20 touchdown passes in a disappointing second season. He's a high-end QB2 at Tampa Bay next week.
