Keller had a big first half before giving way to Braylon Edwards after halftime, but now has 13 catches in the past two games while showing an increasingly good rapport with rookie Mark Sanchez.

Dustin Keller led the Jets with eight catches for 76 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins in Week 8.
This was the game Keller owners have been waiting for as Mark Sanchez's go-to receiver. It was fantastic performance by the second-year tight end, who made several highlight-reel grabs in traffic, including a diving touchdown at the stripe. Keller has a bye next week before facing the Jags in Week 9.

Dustin Keller caught just one pass for 26 yards in Week 7.
It sounds like another excuse for yet another slow game from Keller, but the Jets only tried 15 passes in the 38-0 butt kicking, so no one was going to do much in the passing game. Keep Keller as a TE2 until he works out of his funk.

Keller was a big part of the game plan; the duo just couldn't execute in the windy, unfavorable conditions. Sanchez has hit a "rookie wall," but has enough talent to get it turned around. Consider Keller a TE2 until he does.

Dustin Keller had two catches for 16 yards in Sunday's loss to the Bills.
Mark Sanchez talked during the week about getting his tight end more involved, but it didn't happen even though Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) was inactive. Sanchez's timing with Keller looked off on a couple plays and then Keller picked up a costly false start in overtime. Keller gets the Raiders next week.

Mark Sanchez admitted Wednesday that he needs to get Dustin Keller more involved in the passing game.
"I need to do a better job of finding him, because he’s a great target," Sanchez said. "He’s been great." Expect Keller to come around, especially with Jerricho Cotchery unlikely to play in Week 6. The Jets' opponent, Buffalo, has been horrific at defending the tight end since the season opener.
