Cowboys placed LG Kyle Kosier (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Kosier tore ligaments in the foot and battled the injury all season, ultimately appearing in only three games. He will need surgery but with a reasonable $2.63 million salary due in 2009, Kosier will almost certainly be back.

Kyle Kosier's foot has become a real problem. If Holland plays well, Dallas could feel better about shutting Kosier down for the rest of the season.

The Cowboys are reportedly considering shutting LG Kyule Kosier (foot) down for the rest of the season.
The foot has bothered Kosier all season. He's going to seek another opinion this week, but it reportedly does not look promising.

Cowboys LG Kyle Kosier re-injured his right foot in the second half Sunday.
Kosier has already missed eight games this season because of the injury, diagnosed as a sprain and a fracture. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he would be surprised if his left guard was able to play Thursday. Cory Procter should be able to step in and provide adequate help.
