Chris Johnson rushed 26 times for 132 yards and two touchdowns and added nine receptions for 100 yards to lead the Titans over the Bills in Week 10, 41-17.
Since Vince Young took over at quarterback, the coaches have made good on their promise to find creative ways to get the ball in Johnson's hands out in space. He had two screen passes, several planned dumpoffs, and a 32-yard gain on an option pitch. For the second straight week, Johnson was the goal-line back of choice over LenDale White. The hottest back in the league has cleared 100 yards in four straight games and has multiple scores in three straight. He takes an NFL high 1,091 rushing yards into next week's game at Houston.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher said that Chris Johnson will get the vast majority of carries again this week because the Bills' defense can be beaten with speed.
LenDale White is getting phased out, even on the goal line. "I'd like to see LenDale get more carries but it is the nature of the teams we play," Fisher said. Johnson is averaging 6.7 yards per carry, the most for an NFL rushing leader through nine weeks since 1970. He's a top-3 fantasy start this week.

Chris Johnson rushed 25 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns and added three receptions for 25 yards to lead the Titans past the 49ers in Week 9, 34-27.
Johnson became the first back to top 100 yards against the Niners, and it could have been worse. He lost 40 yards when his heel was ruled out of bounds on what was originally ruled an 81-yard score. In an especially promising development, he was left in at the goal-line, receiving six carries inside the 10-yard line to just two for LenDale White. On pace for 1,918 rushing yards and 14 TDs, he's a fantasy juggernaut if the goal-line work becomes a trend.

Chris Johnson reiterated that his goal is to rush for 2,000 yards this season.
Johnson said he told his offensive linemen that if gets to that milestone, he'll buy them all a car. As silly as this sounds, it's important that Johnson and his line stay motivated depsite their 1-6 record. Johnson leads the league in rushing with 824 yards and is on pace for just under 2,000.

Chris Johnson rushed 24 times for 228 yards and two touchdowns and added two receptions for 11 yards to lead the Titans to their first win of the season against the Jags in Week 8.
Johnson broke free on several long runs, and the Jags defenders simply couldn't catch him. He would have added a third touchdown if his toe hadn't brushed the sidelines on a 22-yard run. The 405 combined rushing yards by Johnson and Maurice Jones-Drew were the third most in a game by two opposing backs since 1950. The homerun-hitting Johnson now has two games over 200 yards on the season and stands as the NFL's leading rusher with 824 yards at 6.9 per attempt.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher said Chris Johnson and LenDale White will continue to get the vast majority of carries.
In other words, Javon Ringer's seven carry, 47 yard game against the Patriots meant very little. White, who suffered a leg injury in that game, should be fine for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. On the season, Johnson has 95 carries while White has 39. Expect that split to continue.
