Rams LT Alex Barron is expected to rejoin the starting lineup after being benched in the third quarter last week.
Barron was replaced by John Greco. It sounds like coach Steve Spagnuolo just got caught up in the moment when he benched Barron, because he sounds apologetic about it now. "What happened on Sunday is not where we're going with this team," Spags said. "By that I mean somebody makes a mistake, you're pulled out of the game."

Coach Steve Spagnuolo benched LT Alex Barron in the third quarter of the 49ers' romping of the Rams.
Barron was not injured, he was just simply removed in favor of John Greco. This is not a good sign for Barron, as it is his contract year and he is trying to prove he can start in this league. The Rams might as well be terrible with their youngsters getting playing time.

Rams G John Greco had surgery on his wrist over the weekend and is expected to miss two to three weeks.
This won't affect the Rams' offense too much as they now have Adam Goldberg on the bench. Greco will get a good view of Jason Smith's NFL debut.

According to Rams GM Billy Devaney, Alex Barron will be moved to left tackle "immediately" following the release of Orlando Pace.
The team may also try smallish left guard Jacob Bell at right tackle, which would open a spot for John Greco at guard. Of course, Devaney's talk is likely a smokescreen intended to convince other teams that the Rams are not obligated to take a tackle with the No. 2 overall pick.
