Falcons waived RB Thomas Brown, WR Aaron Kelly, OT Michael Butterworth, WR Troy Bergeron, LB Robert James, and OG Jose Valdez.
Brown lost out to Jason Snelling behind Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood. Kelly has ability, but is raw and could use a year on the practice squad.
