Chiefs waived OT Barry Richardson.
Part of Kansas City's ballyhooed, but ultimately failed 2008 draft class, Richardson saw first-team reps in camp but became expendable when Ryan O'Callaghan was claimed on waivers. Richardson figures to get another shot soon.
 Damion McIntosh-T - Seahawks Sep. 4 - 4:38 pm et

Chiefs released OT Damion McIntosh.
It's a little surprising. This Chiefs offense line is a total disaster. McIntosh is a veteran with a lot of experience so you know he must have been playing really poorly. It looks like Barry Richardson will be the starting right tackle, and you can be sure this unit will struggle this year. The Chiefs also cut OT Herb Taylor, C Eric Ghiaciuc and G Tavares Washington.

 Barry Richardson-T - Chiefs Aug. 22 - 11:04 am et

Barry Richardson started at right tackle for the Chiefs on Friday and didn't pass the test to keep that job for long.
The Chiefs ran almost exclusively right to test him and it didn't pay off. The Chiefs' offensive line hasn't played too well this preseason, as all five members are getting pushed around. Larry Johnson and Matt Cassel are going to have a tough time making it through the entire season if it continues.
