Coach Raheem Morris said that K Connor Barth should get a chance to be the Bucs kicker next season.
Barth is the third kicker the Bucs have used this season and he's been very solid. He made three field goals of 50 yards or more in November and then calmly nailed a game winning 47-yarder in overtime in Week 16 at New Orleans. The Bucs offense would have to make great strides this offseason for Barth to be on the fantasy radar.

Bucs K Connor Barth made three field goals of 50 yards or more in the Week 10 loss to the Dolphins.
No one saw this coming as Barth was just signed earlier this month and struggled with his accuracy in practice. His performance tied an NFL record for converting kicks of 50 yards or more. Despite the big game, we're leaving him on the waiver wire as the Bucs offense still figures to be inconsistent.

Buccaneers signed K Connor Barth.
Barth is more accurate than Shane Andrus, but he was the worst in the league on kickoff distance last season. Needless to say, the Bucs' kicker isn't a viable fantasy option.

Dolphins waived K Connor Barth.
Barth was just signed on Aug. 10, but he didn't have much of a chance to beat out Dan Carpenter. The Dolphins also waived NT Louis Ellis.

Dan Carpenter has reportedly regained the upper-hand on the Dolphins kicking job.
Carpenter fell off a bit after the team signed Connor Barth, but he's rebounded in preseason action. The incumbent has a much stronger leg, so expect him to keep the job.

Dolphins K Dan Carpenter is reportedly in a "full-fledged fight" for his job.
The team recently signed former Chiefs kicker Connor Barth, who has been out-performing Carpenter in practice. Carpenter is the incumbent and owns a much stronger leg, so it's his job to lose in preseason action.
