Jaguars RT Eben Britton aggravated his sprained knee in Sunday's game, but he expects to fine for this week's game against the Rams.
Britton, Eugene Monroe, and Tra Thomas were beaten relentlessly by the Seahawks defensive line, which the Jags are blaming on the crowd noise at Qwest Field. That won't be a problem in Jacksonville this week.

Jaguars RT Eben Britton is not on the Week 5 injury report after missing last Sunday's win with a sprained knee.
Britton, the 39th pick overall in April, will help the cause of Maurice Jones-Drew against Seattle. With Mike Sims-Walker emerging, their tackles getting healthy, and an extremely favorable schedule coming up (@ SEA, vs. STL, @ TEN, vs. KC), the Jaguars' offense appears poised for a high-scoring run.

We'd call it a downgrade for David Garrard's protection if the Titans had a better left defensive end than Jevon Kearse. Britton's loss may hurt Maurice Jones-Drew's run blocking some, but not enough to make a difference.

Monroe will likely be manning David Garrard's blind side Sunday, but Britton could be out after spraining his knee in Week 3. Britton's absence won't be enough to hold down Maurice Jones-Drew's production.

He's questionable to return. Maurice Williams will fill in at right tackle with Uche Nwaneri playing right guard. Against the Texans' generous defense, it shouldn't affect Maurice Jones-Drew's production.

Second-round pick Eben Britton has won the Jaguars' starting right tackle position.
Tony Pashos' release and Tra Thomas' demotion to the second-team offense locked Britton in. A skilled run blocker, his promotion bodes well for Maurice Jones-Drew. Britton is also athletic enough to be adequate in pass pro.
