Michael Crabtree caught three passes for 58 yards in Week 17.
Crabtree's 38-yard catch in the third quarter set up Frank Gore's first TD in the fourth quarter to put the Niners up 21-6. He caught 48 passes for 625 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie season. Crabtree is the Niners' No. 1 receiver going forward into 2010 but is the No. 2 option behind Vernon Davis.

Michael Crabtree caught four passes for 68 yards against the Lions in Week 16.
Crabtree broke free on a play-action pass for a 50-yard gain, but he could have strolled into the end zone had Alex Smith not underthrown him. Now up to 45 receptions for 567 yards in 10 games, Crabtree is a strong WR3 against the Rams next week.

Michael Crabtree caught four passes for 26 yards in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
Crabtree struggled to get free from Asante Samuel and Alex Smith struggled worse to read the coverage. The rookie didn't get on the board until the Niners were well behind and even then he could only find space underneath. Things will get much better against the Lions next week.

49ers offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye now says his ideal offense would tilt toward the pass instead of the run.
With Frank Gore as his only reliable offensive weapon, Raye called for a 60-40 run-to-pass ratio before the season. Since then, however, Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree have emerged as star caliber players and Alex Smith has shown enough promise to head into next season as the starter.

Michael Crabtree suffered a hip contusion during Monday night's win over the Cardinals.
A contusion is only a bruise and Crabtree made it through the game fine. He saw ten targets on Monday night and has at least four catches in each of his last five games. Crabtree will be worth WR3 use at Philadelphia in Week 15.

Michael Crabtree caught five passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in Week 14.
Crabtree was Alex Smith's favorite target tonight, as he was thrown to ten times. Smith overshot him a few times and it looks like their chemistry is still off, but they did connect near the end of the first half for a 35-yard score. Crabtree will be up against Asante Samuel and Co. next week when the Niners travel to Philly.
