Sports Illustrated's Peter King says that LeSean McCoy will be the breakout Eagles of 2010.
The Eagles didn't exactly trust McCoy as a rookie because of his inconsistent pass protection, inability to convert in short yardage and poor fundamentals when carrying the ball in space. That said, McCoy could very well be looking at 15+ touches a game if/when Brian Westbrook gets cut. With McCoy's explosiveness, that should be enough to warrant significant fantasy upside.

LeSean McCoy is listed at 210 pounds after his official post-season weigh-in, up 12 pounds from last summer.
Theoretically, the added weight will help McCoy shoulder more carries while improving his short-yardage skills. As Steve Slaton showed in 2009, however, it's not always the case. McCoy has to work on pass-blocking and north/south running this offseason. If he can keep his speed, the added bulk will help in both areas.

Brian Westbrook may have to retire, reports Philadelphia radio host Howard Eskin.
Perhaps no Philadelphia media member is as plugged in to the Eagles as Eskin, so this report has validity. Eskin says Westbrook's troublesome left knee is the career-threatening issue, not his concussions. Westbrook, 30, is due $7.5 million in 2010 and is extremely unlikely to be back with the Eagles. He'll visit with doctors about the knee and Eskin says B-West could have trouble passing a physical for another team. It's looking more and more like a great career will end on a sad note.

The Eagles were 7-1 this year when Brian Westbrook didn't play and 4-5 when he did.
The writing is on the wall. LeSean McCoy is expected to become the lead back in 2010 while the team moves away from Westbrook, who is due $7.5M next season. It's possible that Westbrook will return at a reduced rate, but the Eagles are likely looking to move on.

LeSean McCoy rushed five times for 24 yards and added one reception for nine yards against the Cowboys in Saturday's playoff loss.
McCoy continues to struggle in blitz pickup, missing two blocks that led to sacks. Down big from the second quarter on, the Eagles turned into a one-dimensional offense once again. Though McCoy has a fine future in PPR leagues, the coaching staff's lack of trust in him down the stretch is slightly disconcerting. He'll likely split touches with another back next season.

Brian Westbrook does not expect to dominate the Eagles' backfield Saturday night at Dallas.
Westbrook is being a good teammate in deferring to DeSean Jackson and his fellow backfield mates, but he remains the best bet for snaps and touches among the Philly runners. While he's no longer the offensive focal point, he should see an increased role this week.
