Bills first-round pick Aaron Maybin has just two tackles in the first four games of the season.
Maybin's playing time is decreasing. In Week 1 he saw 38 snaps. That number dropped to 27 in Week 2, then 13 in Week 3 and 14 (in 73 plays) last week. "He is a work in progress. He's doing a pretty good job and he's learning. It was a hot day, obviously," said coach Dick Jauron.

Aaron Maybin's base deal is worth $17.6 million over five years, according to Profootballtalk.com.
The deal was reportedly on the table for a full week. It represents a ten-percent increase over the eleventh overall pick in the 2008 draft, Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin. Maybin said he will practice on Monday.

Bills agreed to terms with Aaron Maybin, the No. 11 overall pick in the draft, on a five-year deal.
Maybin is expected to sign the deal later today but won't travel with the team for their preseason game in Green Bay this weekend. He's a speed-rusher that isn't expected to have a huge impact this season. Michael Crabtree and Andre Smith are the only first-round picks without deals now.

According to an Associated Press source, a deal between Aaron Maybin and the Bills is "getting pretty close."
This is much more reliable than Terrell Owens' Twitter page. It's looking like a deal is on the horizon, but it still remains to be seen if Maybin has missed too much time to be ready for Week 1. Michael Crabtree and Andre Smith would be the only first-rounders unsigned if/when Maybin offically inks his deal.

According to Terrell Owens, the Bills have signed first-round pick Aaron Maybin.
No one from the Bills is talking, reportedly because they don't want to cut anyone from their 80-man roster for Saturday night's preseason game. Looks like someone forgot to tell T.O. to keep his mouth shut. Isn't the first time and won't be the last.

The Bills remain "far apart" in contract talks with unsigned first-round pick Aaron Maybin.
With only four weeks left before the regular season, the Bills are concerned the No. 11 overall pick won't be ready to play in Week 1. "Neither side is offering positive signs a deal is close," according to the Associated Press. Maybin's missed practice count is up to 21, not including 15 walkthroughs.
