Mark Sanchez completed 17-of-30 passes for 257 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the Jets' AFC Championship Game loss to Indianapolis.
The interception essentially came in garbage time, with the Jets down two scores late in the fourth quarter. Sanchez turned in one of his best games of an up-and-down rookie season, but was handicapped when the Jets instituted an ultraconservative game plan to open the second half, instead of going with what was working. Sanchez was aggressive, often to a fault, throughout his rookie year, but we see that as a good thing. While the Jets will stay run heavy in 2010, Sanchez will be worth a late-round fantasy pick as a mid- to low-level QB2. He certainly does not lack explosive weaponry.
