Bills RG Eric Wood (broken tibia and fibula) has just started walking again after his gruesome Week 11 injury.
Wood's goal is to be ready for training camp and we have to be skeptical about that. He has a rod and four screws in his leg and if they need to be removed, more surgery will be needed. There's a chance the promising first-rounder from last April will start 2010 on the PUP list.

Bills placed RG Eric Wood on injured reserve with a broken tibia and fibula, ending his season.
The 28th overall pick in the draft will have a very hard time being ready for Week 1 in 2010, and will probably be a candidate to begin next year on PUP. The gruesome compound fracture ends a promising season for Wood, who immediately stepped into a starting role this season and met expectations.

The CBS news team covering Sunday's Jaguars-Bills game elected to not show replays of Bills RG Eric Wood's compound leg fracture.
"It was not a pretty sight," coach Perry Fewell admitted Monday. Wood underwent emergency surgery Sunday to repair his tibia and fibula. The Bills' second of two 2009 first-round picks seems doubtful to be ready for 2010.

Bills G Eric Wood suffered a broken left leg Sunday and is scheduled to undergo immediate season-ending surgery.
Wood fractured both his tibia and fibula, and is staying overnight in Jacksonville to have the procedure. He was one of Buffalo's two first-round picks in this year's draft and had started all nine games this season.

Bills G Eric Wood (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Wood suffered a left knee injury during the Bills' Week 11 matchup with the Jaguars. He was placed in a wheelchair after the game with his leg immobilized. The rookie was enjoying a solid 2009 campaign.

The Bills' interior offensive line is taking some hits in this Week 11 matchup against the Jaguars. Wood had to be carted off the field and it appears he will not return.
