Redskins FB Eddie Williams (broken fibula) will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season.
Williams was a special teamer and backup to Mike Sellers. It's not a big loss, but the Redskins' mile-long injury list is getting comical. Williams will try to get healthy enough to compete for a spot in 2010 training camp.

Redskins signed FB Eddie Williams to their active roster.
Williams will take Chris Samuels' spot on the roster and help out on special teams. He could also serve as a blocking tight end with Chris Cooley out. The seventh-round pick isn't a ball carrier.

Redskins rookie FB Eddie Williams is a project at this point.
Considering Mike Sellers is still going strong, it's unlikely Williams will get on the field anytime soon. He's coming off a knee ligament injury and hasn't practiced with the Redskins yet.

Redskins signed seventh-round pick Eddie Williams to a multi-year contract.
Williams (6'1/239) caught 54 passes for 687 yards and six TDs as a senior tight end at Idaho. He has the look of an H-back and will try to make the Skins at fullback behind Mike Sellers. Williams isn't much of a tailback option.
