Tiquan Underwood will step in as the Jaguars No. 4 receiver with Jarett Dillard (broken ankle) out for the season.
Underwood, a seventh-round pick, ended up on the practice squad out of training camp. He's played in two games this season but won't have an impact on offense as Dillard had just eight targets all year before going down.

No surprises here. Jacksonville is one of the NFL's healthiest teams.

Jaguars have declared WR Tiquan Underwood, LB Adam Seward, DL Greg Peterson, OT Jordan Black, LB Justin Durant, OG Maurice Williams, CB Scott Starks, and SS Sean Considine inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Williams seems to have fallen out of favor on the Jags' offensive line. The injury-prone Starks is out with a groin injury, and Durant is dealing with a hip injury.

Jaguars signed WR Tiquan Underwood from their practice squad.
Underwood will take the roster spot vacated by Troy Williamson. A speedy seventh-round pick from Rutgers, Underwood is now the fifth receiver behind Torry Holt, Mike Sims-Walker, Mike Thomas, and Jarrett Dillard.

Jaguars waived WR Tiquan Underwood.
Underwood's big spring in shorts didn't translate to the preseason, so he lost out to fellow rookies Mike Thomas and Jarett Dillard. Kenny Britt's old bookend at Rutgers should clear waivers and make the practice squad.

Jaguars rookie Jarrett Dillard is competing with three other receivers for two roster spots.
Fourth-rounder Mike Thomas, now practicing after missing training camp with a hamstring injury, is probably a lock. Tiquan Underwood is a prime practice squad candidate, so it could be Dillard vs. Nate Hughes for the final spot. The game has "slowed down" for Dillard the past couple of weeks, and he's a better talent than Hughes.
