Browns placed RB Jamal Lewis on injured reserve with "post-concussion symptoms," ending his season.
Lewis' 2009 season -- his last, if he makes good on his retirement plan -- ends with career lows in total yards (588), touchdowns (0), catches (8), and rushing yards per game (55.6). His 3.5 YPC average was the second lowest of his 10-year career. We've heard some observers call Lewis a possible and even probable Hall of Famer, but that's unlikely. While Lewis' 2003 season was one of the most dominant by a running back all-time, he only made one Pro Bowl and didn't have enough sustained success.
