Correll Buckhalter (probable, knee) returned to Broncos practice in full Friday.
The probable tag means the Broncos consider Buckhalter "virtually certain" to be available for his normal role in the offense. However, he saw just two touches last week to Knowshon Moreno's 20 after a first-quarter fumble and may be being weeded out of the offense. Coach Josh McDaniels has shown signs all year that he wants Moreno to take over the featured back role.

Broncos RBs Correll Buckhalter (knee) and LaMont Jordan (back) missed practice Thursday.
Buckhalter was limited Wednesday, so this is a downgrade for him. The severity of his knee injury is unknown, but he'll likely have to return to practice Friday in order to have a significant role against the Chargers this week. Knowshon Moreno is a high-end RB2 if Buckhalter is held out.

Correll Buckhalter (knee) was limited in Broncos practice Wednesday.
The knee injury shouldn't keep Buckhalter out of Week 11, but last week's fumble may continue to limit his playing time. He didn't have one touch against the Redskins after the first-quarter miscue and isn't a fantasy option.

Knowshon Moreno resumed starting over Correll Buckhalter against the Redskins in Week 10.
Moreno owners got a brief scare when Buckhalter received the first-team nod in Week 9, but the rookie may be taking over this backfield. He saw 20 touches to Buckhalter's two after the veteran's early-game fumble. Consider Moreno a risky, but high-upside RB2/flex against San Diego in Week 11.

Correll Buckhalter did not touch the football the rest of the game after fumbling in the first quarter Sunday.
"I feel like I let my teammates down today," he said. "I take it upon myself. I’m a better player than that." Coach Josh McDaniels refused to cite the fumble as the primary reason for Buckhalter's benching, instead saying Knowshon Moreno was "running it good so we just left him in the game."

Correll Buckhalter finished Week 10 with just two carries for 11 yards and a lost fumble.
Buckhalter was benched after his first-quarter fumble, with Knowshon Moreno taking over as Denver's every-down back. Moreno had 104 yards on 20 touches and was effective when the Broncos got him out in space, so Buckhalter's role may continue to decline going forward. Despite a favorable upcoming matchup against San Diego, Buckhalter won't be a Week 11 fantasy option.
