The Eagles called eight runs out of their 33 first half plays in their Week 10 loss to the Chargers.
The Eagles abandoned the run while the game was still close. They have no confidence at all in their short yardage or red zone ground attack, and that doesn't figure to change much with Brian Westbrook out indefinitely. This offense is always a "pass first" scheme, but Donovan McNabb could be asked to chuck it around more than ever over the final seven games.

Donovan McNabb completed 35-of-55 passes for 450 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
This was a great fantasy day for McNabb, but a bad day in real life. He couldn't complete passes in the red zone and just chucked his way to huge numbers. The Eagles have completely abandoned their ineffecitve running game -- look for another monster day in terms of attempts in Chicago next week.

Donovan McNabb completed just 16-of-30 passes for 227 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 9 against the Cowboys.
It was one of those nights for McNabb, who inexplicably threw balls into the dirt and sailed passes too long for his receivers. He made a few nice plays, including an improvised pitch-and-catch third quarter touchdown to TE Brent Celek, but he was mostly inconsistent in the losing effort.

Donovan McNabb said he will probably wear protection for his ribs for the rest of the season.
The flak jacket hasn't appeared to bother McNabb at all. He had one of his best halves in recent memory against the Giants last week and hasn't hesitated to scramble since the Week 1 injury. McNabb is a QB1 option against the Cowboys this week.

Donovan McNabb completed 17-of-23 passes for 240 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Eagles' Week 8 blowout of the Giants.
McNabb also scrambled for a 14 yard gain. Coming off a horribly inaccurate performance last week, McNabb was exceptionally accurate in this one. All three of his touchdowns came in the first half and he would have had much bigger numbers if the game ever got close. Look for more big plays out of McNabb against the Cowboys next week.

Donovan McNabb blamed his inaccurate passing over the last two games on poor footwork and rushing throws.
The streaky QB often goes through funks. McNabb missed at least six open receivers Monday night, with most of those errant throws diving hard and low. It's hard to tell when McNabb will snap out of it, but Sunday's game against the Giants is a tough place to start. He's a borderline QB1 in this matchup.
