Visanthe Shiancoe caught four passes for 83 yards in the Vikings' NFC title game loss to New Orleans.
Shiancoe, atypically, didn't catch a touchdown pass, but was dangerous on the move and consistently moved the sticks. During the regular season, 15 tight ends had more receiving yards than Shiancoe. Only one (Vernon Davis) scored more touchdowns. He's Brett Favre's go-to guy in scoring situations and would be adversely impacted if Favre hangs up his cleats this spring.

Visanthe Shiancoe caught just one pass -- an 11-yard touchdown -- in the Vikings' Divisional Round playoff win over Dallas.
If Shiancoe catches a pass, there's always a good chance it goes for six. His score was icing on the cake of a 34-3 rout. The Saints covered tight ends well this regular season, so expect another small yardage total in Week 20.

The Vikes are likely just taking it easy with Shiancoe due to the multitude of injuries he's played through in the second half of the season. He'll be fine for Sunday's game.

Shiancoe in't listed on the injury report with the turf toe he suffered in Week 17. The red-zone machine remains likely to start Sunday versus Dallas.

Vinsanthe Shiancoe added turf toe to his growing list of ailments.
Shiancoe is also dealing with rib and thigh injuries. He'll benefit greatly from the bye the Vikings earned and should be fine for the divisional round.
