Free agent WR Matt Jones will work out for the Bucs Tuesday.
Coach Raheem Morris called out Michael Clayton and Antonio Bryant for six combined drops in Sunday's loss. Jones caught 65 passes in 12 games last season for the Jaguars but off-field issues led to his release. The Cowboys, Dolphins, Jets and Bears are reportedly also showing interest in the former college quarterback. Jones was joined by David Tyree, Yamon Figurs, Chris Davis, and Jordan Kent at Tuesday's Bucs workout.

Free agent WRs Matt Jones, Jerry Porter and Samie Parker all left town without contract offers after trying out with the Titans Thursday.
"I don't think anything is imminent," GM Mike Reinfeldt said. "They're guys we have interest in and guys with certain skills we wanted to see. But I don't see anything happening right now." Jones is the most likely of the three to find a home before Week 1.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that the Titans will try out free agent Matt Jones on Thursday.
Mort says the Bears and Cowboys are also "monitoring" Jones' situation. The 26-year-old receiver likely wouldn't compete for starter's snaps right away in Tennessee, but he'd be a fine third option behind Kenny Britt and Justin Gage with Nate Washington (hamstring) out indefinitely. Jones has been staying in shape, but doesn't know coordinator Mike Heimerdinger's system.

Free agent WR Matt Jones' representatives have reportedly contacted the Bears, but the team has no interest in him "at this time."
Though Jones remains a character risk, his new-found commitment suggests he can help a team like Chicago. He was on pace for 87 receptions and 1,000+ yards before his three-game suspension kicked in late last season.

The Cowboys deny having an interest in free agent WR Matt Jones.
Jones mentioned that he's spoken to four teams about signing, which is true. His agent contacted the Cowboys, who promptly replied that they were happy with their own receivers.

NFL fined free agent WR Matt Jones $50,000 for violating the terms of his court-mandated drug program earlier this offseason.
Jones is appealing, but the league's ruling has been settled and he won't be suspended. Jones says he's been in discussions with four teams. Ravens beat writer Aaron Wilson confirmed Thursday that Baltimore has no interest.
