Broncos declared RB LaMont Jordan, QB Tom Brandstater, WR Kenny McKinley, OG Seth Olsen, DL Chris Baker, WR Brandon Lloyd, RT Ryan Harris and OLB Jarvis Moss inactive for Thursday's game against the Giants.
Kyle Orton will start, as expected. The biggest injury for the Broncos is starting RT Ryan Harris. It's a bad time for him to be out against the Giants' outstanding defensive line. Brian Dawkins (neck) is active and will start.

 Correll Buckhalter-RB - Broncos Nov. 19 - 3:14 pm et  

Broncos RBs Correll Buckhalter (knee) and LaMont Jordan (back) missed practice Thursday.
Buckhalter was limited Wednesday, so this is a downgrade for him. The severity of his knee injury is unknown, but he'll likely have to return to practice Friday in order to have a significant role against the Chargers this week. Knowshon Moreno is a high-end RB2 if Buckhalter is held out.

The Broncos are healthy coming out of their Week 7 bye. Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter will handle backfield duties with Jordan inactive this week.

LaMont Jordan missed Thursday's practice for reasons unrelated to injury.
With Correll Buckhalter (ankle) returning to practice, Jordan won't have a significant role this week regardless.

Broncos coach Josh McDaniels characterized LaMont Jordan's role as the "four-minute" back when the team is trying to run out the clock with the lead.
Peyton Hillis will continue to work as the short-yardage specialist, though any of the backs could see carries inside the 10-yard line. Jordan has just 15 rushing attempts to 31 for Correll Buckhalter and 46 for Knowshon Moreno.
