Roy E. Williams caught five balls for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 10 loss to Green Bay.
Williams is benefiting from the heavy attention Miles Austin now commands. He tied Austin and Jason Witten for a team-high nine targets and posted his first 100-yard receiving effort in 25 games. It wasn't all gravy for Roy E., however. He fumbled after a 41-yard catch and had a key drop at the start of the third quarter. Still, consider him a WR2 going forward. He has 180 yards in his last two games, and two TDs in his last three.

Roy E. Williams caught five passes for 75 yards in the Cowboys' Week 9 victory over the Eagles.
The five catches represent a season-high for Williams, who admitted last week that he was not on the same page as QB Tony Romo. They looked a bit more comfortable Sunday night and Williams made a couple fine catches. That said, he also inexplicably high-stepped out of bounds after a third-quarter catch rather than attempt to outrun a crew of Eagles linebackers. His hunger for the end zone is suspect.

Roy E. Williams admits that he is not on the same page with Tony Romo.
"(Miles Austin) gets the ball thrown correctly his way," he said. "I'm stretching and falling and doing everything. Everybody [else] who's been here's balls are there. Our footballs (from Romo to Williams) are everywhere right now." Williams is averaging just 41.5 receiving yards per game this season, and the Cowboys don't seem to be in any rush to get him the ball more.

Hall of Famer Michael Irvin said Tuesday that his efforts to help Roy Williams prior to the start of the season went unheeded.
Irvin tried to get Williams and Miles Austin to anticipate the snap count in order to explode off the line of scrimmage, but only Austin was receptive to the advice. While Austin threatens to reach Top-20 status in Dynasty leagues, Williams is falling by the wayside. He's shown no sign of improvement in the year he's been in Dallas.

Roy E. Williams couldn't explain why his timing is still off with Tony Romo after Sunday's win over the Seahawks.
Even though he scored a touchdown, Williams caught just two of the seven passes that came his way. He now has just 14 catches on the season. "I don't know what it is. ... He throws to me every day, and it's just not there right now," Williams said. Keep him reserved against the Eagles next week.

Roy E. Williams caught two passes for 19 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 8 win.
The TD saved his otherwise unimpressive day. Williams saw seven targets but is essentially a fourth option in Dallas' balanced offense, and clearly has been overtaken by Miles Austin as the No. 1 receiver. He is blocking better than receiving. Keep him benched in Week 9 at Philadelphia, which has a tough pass defense.
