Free agent DL William Joseph visited the Raiders on Friday.
Joseph has been in and out of Oakland over the last two seasons. He was last with the team when they acquired Richard Seymour from the Pats in September. The Raiders' defensive line is healthy, so it was likely just a look-see.

The Chiefs recently worked out William Joseph, Tim Anderson and Marlon Favorite, according to Brad Biggs of the National Football Post.
They're all interior defensive linemen. Coach Todd Haley is on a quest to find some guys that can actually play.

Raiders released DL William Joseph.
This is the second time Joseph has been cut in the past week by the Raiders. He was released the first time to make room for Richard Seymour and then was re-signed when Seymour didn't show up. Now that Seymour has shown, the Raiders have decided to release him again. Tough week for the big man.

Joseph was just released less than a week ago, but the Raiders brought him back for depth while waiting on Richard Seymour's arrival.

Joseph thought he'd made the final 53 late Saturday, but Sunday morning's acquisition of Richard Seymour had him packing his bags. "Willie Jo" was the Giants' first-round pick in 2003. He has been a total failure in the NFL.
