Seahawks placed LT Brandon Frye (neck) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Frye's injury was first reported as a "stinger," but it was obviously more serious. Kyle Williams, promoted from the practice squad last weekend, replaced Frye on Sunday. Street free agent Damion McIntosh may have to step in as the starter at left tackle immediately. Matt Hasselbeck remains a poor bet to stay upright behind the Seahawks' crumbling offensive line.

Seahawks LT Brandon Frye will be re-evaluated today after suffering a neck/shoulder injury on Sunday.
Frye had to leave the game and was replaced by Kyle Williams. That left the Seahawks with just five active and healthy linemen thanks to Mansfield Wrotto's sprained ankle. Anyone who lines up on the Seahawks line right now is getting hurt.

Seahawks LT Brandon Frye left Sunday's game with an apparent neck injury.
The Seahawks were already without both starting tackles, and Frye was torched by the Colts defensive ends last week. Kyle Williams, just promoted from the practice squad, has come on to replace him.

The Colts defensive ends combined for four sacks and drew three holding penalties in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.
This is what happens when Walter Jones and Sean Locklear are both out. The Seahawks just can't pass protect for Seneca Wallace or Matt Hasselbeck. With Jones out indefinitely and Locklear sidelined at least a few more games, this situation isn't getting any better. Brandon Frye and Ray Willis will continue to struggle as the starting tackles.

 Robert Mathis-DL - Colts Oct. 4 - 10:17 pm et

Colts DE Robert Mathis recorded six tackles (four solo) and three sacks, and forced two fumbles in Week 4 against Jacksonville.
Mathis, usually the Colts' left end, played on the right side and abused Seahawks LT Brandon Frye, who's filling in for Walter Jones (knee) and Sean Locklear (ankle). For the season, Mathis is up to five sacks and 15 tackles.
 Walter Jones-T - Seahawks Sep. 30 - 2:11 pm et

The Seahawks have shut down LT Walter Jones due to continued soreness in his twice surgically repaired knee.
It wouldn't be surprising if Jones doesn't play at all this season. Seattle is still without fill-in left tackle Sean Locklear (high ankle sprain) and will likely turn to career practice squad type Brandon Frye again on Seneca Wallace's blind side. Frye got banged up in Week 3. It's a miserable situation.
