Mikka Kiprusoff was pummeled for six goals in the Flames 7-1 embarrassment at the hands of the Blackhawks.
Kipprusoff was dreadful stopping only 18 of 24 shots, and had to be replaced Curtis McElhinney. While this is a low blow for fantasy owners, Kipper is an elite tender and should bounce back. Don’t be surprised if he gets a rest in the immediate future.

Mikka Kiprusoff turned aside 21 of 24 shots in the Flames' 3-2 loss to the Avalanche Tuesday night.
Kiprusoff was simply one-upped by another talented goaltender. The Flames may be cooling off, after winning five of their last six.

Miikka Kiprusoff was outstanding for the Flames last week.
He posted a 2-0-1 record with a microscopic 0.97 goals-against average and a remarkable .969 save percentage. Surprisingly, he was not named as one the league's stars of the week on Monday. Kiprusoff has been lights out for Calgary this season, earning an overall mark of 11-3-2 to go along with a .923 save percentage and a 2.36 GAA.

Miikka Kiprusoff kicked aside 38 shots in the Flames 5-2 victory over the Leafs.
It was Kipper's 11th win of the season, improving the Flames record to 12-4-2. The Leafs out-shot the Flames in the first two periods. In the second period Toronto had 20 shots on goal compared to Calgary's four.

Miikka Kiprusoff made 32 saves in the Flames' 2-1 shootout loss to Buffalo Friday night.
Kiprusoff was outmatched by the Sabres' Ryan Miller. The Finnish netminder was beaten by Jason Pominville in the shootout and was as a result saddled with the loss. His record now stands at 10-3-2 for the season.
