Mark Recchi centered the Bruins' second line on Thursday.
With centers Marc Savard, Patrice Bergeron, and now David Krejci all injured, the Bruins have to find creative ways to fill the void. The Bruins apparently also considered shifting Marco Sturm to center, but Recchi wanted the job. "I’ve been a pretty decent passer my whole career," said Recchi. "I can still make the odd play, not quite as good as when I was younger, but I can still make the odd pass. It was interesting playing in the middle, it was fun. I thought our line did a good job."
