Antoine Vermette scored his 17th goal of the season however Columbus fell to Los Angeles 4-1 Thursday night.
Kristian Huselius got the lone assist.

Fredrik Modin scored the game-winner Tuesday night as Columbus downed Nashville 3-2.
This was only Modin’s second goal of the season. Derick Brassard opened the scoring with his seventh of the year. Kristian Huselius also scored in the game, his 16th.

Kristian Huselius had one goal and two assists. Kris Russell and Raffi Torres had the other Columbus goals while R.J. Umberger and Antoine Vermette had two assists each.

Kristian Huselius will play on the Blue Jackets' third line on Saturday.
This is a huge demotion for Huselius, who had been showing signs of life with seven points in his last seven games after a mediocre December. However, Rick Nash is on an 11-game goal scoring slump and coach Ken Hitchcock is hoping a line shakeup will snap him out of that.
