Don't be shocked if Michael Rupp sees some time on the Penguins' first power-play unit.
He has been very effective planting himself in front of the enemy net and has four goals so far this season despite the fact he is getting most of his ice time on the team's fourth line. When asked about the prospects of Rupp playing on the power play, Penguins' coach Dan Bylsma said the following: "Yes, we have. Net-front presence, down low around the net, he's certainly shown the ability to score in that area, nice hands in that area, and the big body in front of the net is something we've contemplated and talked about." If you are looking for a short-term replacement, Rupp may be worth a look.
