 Dany Heatley-W - Sharks Nov. 13 - 1:29 am et

Dany Heatley scored, but the San Jose Sharks couldn't keep up with the Stars falling 3-2 in the shootout.
Heatley's goal on Thursday night gives him 12 on the season. As his goal total continues to climb, so does the hatred for him in Ottawa.
 Devin Setoguchi-W - Sharks Nov. 10 - 9:45 am et

Devin Setoguchi (leg) is projected to play on Tuesday night versus the Predators.
He has sat out the team's past seven games due to a leg injury, but is ready to play again. Coach Todd McLellan said on Monday that Setoguchi would likely start the contest on the top line with Joe Thornton and Dany Heatley, but he will have to keep that spot. "I feel that they will sort themselves out again," McLellan said. "Does Seto play well enough to keep that spot? Does [Ryan] Vesce play better and he gets that spot? We have to play some games now and figure out where everybody's at." Either way, feel free to activate Setoguchi.

 Ryan Vesce-W - Sharks Nov. 10 - 9:40 am et

Ryan Vesce (leg) is expected to return to the Sharks' lineup on Tuesday night.
He has been out of action since Oct. 24 due to a leg injury. Vesce had accumulated three goals and four points in his first four games in the NHL prior to going down. However, he will not return to the top line with Joe Thornton and Dany Heatley at least to start the contest, according to coach Todd McLellan. That spot will be given to Devin Setoguchi, who will also be back in the Sharks' lineup on Tuesday after suffering a leg injury.

 Dany Heatley-W - Sharks Nov. 4 - 10:06 pm et

Dany Heatley netted a power-play goal in a 3-2 shootout victory Wednesday.
Joe Thornton scored his fourth goal of the season for the Sharks. Dan Boyle registered an assist and scored the game-winning goal in the shootout.

Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk has filed a grievance against Dany Heatley over his $4 million bonus.
Heatley received a $4 million bonus this season as part of his contract, but even before the bonus was paid, Heatley demanded the Senators trade him. Ottawa tried to put together a trade before they were due to pay the bonus and they did manage to negotiate a trade with Edmonton before the deadline. However, Heatley didn't want to play for Edmonton either and he exercised his no-trade clause to prevent the deal. As a result, Ottawa was responsible for Heatley's $4 million bonus. The Senators were finally able to trade Heatley to San Jose before the start of the season, but Melnyk was furious about having to pay Heatley the bonus. "I don’t think Melnyk really expects to get his money back," said a league executive. "I do think he wants to cause Heatley some hardship because he caused plenty of problems for the Senators in the summer."
