Jason Labarbera received a rare start in the Coyotes' 2-1 shootout win over the Blackhawks Friday night.
Labarbera made 28 saves in the victory and all three shots in the shootout. His record improves to 5-4-1 on the season.

The Coyotes are playing back-to-back games so look for Ilya Bryzgalov to get the start on Saturday. Adjust your lineup accordingly.

Ilya Bryzgalov will be back between the pipes for the Coyotes on Sunday against Dallas.
Jason LaBarbera was given last night's assignment versus the Rangers and he posted a 3-2 victory. Bryzgalov will be seeking his 29th 'W' of the year, which would be a single-season personal best.

Jason LaBarbera played very well Saturday night as Phoenix downed the Rangers 3-2.
LaBarbera made 24 saves on 26 shots. He hadn’t gotten a start since January 12. His record now sits at 4-4-1. The Rangers have been an offensive enigma this season but give credit to LaBarbera for holding down the fort.

Jason LaBarbera is expected to start for the Coyotes on Saturday night versus the Rangers.
His last start took place on Jan. 12 in a 3-1 loss to San Jose. The Phoenix backup owns a 3-4-1 record in 10 games this season.

Jason LaBarbera turned aside 14 of 18 shots as the Coyotes lost 7-2 to the Sabres on Monday.
LaBarbera came into the game to relieve Ilya Bryzgalov when Buffalo made it 3-0 early in the second period. The loss brought Bryzgalov's two-game winning streak to an end.
