 Michael Ryder-W - Bruins Nov. 16 - 9:37 am et

Michael Ryder snapped a 10-game pointless streak Saturday.
Ryder collected his fourth goal of the season on the weekend and now has seven points on the year. He's not close to the 27-goal, 53-point pace he put up last year. Although all three players on Boston's second line, which includes Ryder, David Krejci and Blake Wheeler, scored on Saturday. They have the talent to be a productive unit, but they've been nothing but inconsistent this year.

David Krejci scored a goal and registered an assist in Boston's heartbreaking 6-5 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday.
Derek Morris and Blake Wheeler also each scored a goal and tallied an assist. Marco Sturm and Michael Ryder scored the other Bruins' goals.

Michael Ryder (flu) played in Tuesday's game against Pittsburgh.
Ryder missed Monday's practice due to an illness, but he was able to avoid missing a game. However, Ryder extended his pointless streak to nine games. He has just three goals and six points in 17 games this season after scoring 27 goals and 53 points in 74 games in 2008-09.

Michael Ryder didn't practice Monday due to an illness.
Bruins coach Claude Julien said Ryder isn't suffering from the H1N1 virus, which teammate David Krejci was diagnosed with last week. Consider Ryder day-to-day for now.

 Brad Marchand-C - Bruins Oct. 25 - 6:07 am et

Brad Marchand has impressed the Bruins' brass since being called up from the minors, but he needs to keep it up to stay with the big club.
He has skated on the top line with Patrice Bergeron and Michael Ryder the past two games, but coach Claude Julien wants him to maintain his work ethic. "He's been pretty good," Julien said. "But those young guys, they have to show us that there's some consistency in their play. They've to stay on the edge. If he gets comfortable, he'll be right back in Providence because he won't be the same player we expect him to be. He's aware of that. He's got to keep competing the way he has been. He does get in people's faces. He's got grit. He’s got jam. Around the net, he's pretty good. He's got good hands. We expect him to keep playing well and produce at some point." Marchand has one assist in three games this season.
