Michael Ryder broke out of a six-game goalless drought Saturday.
Ryder was buzzing the entire game, collecting seven shots and looking like a completely different player from the one who has sleep-walked through the season thus far. He has a goal and an assist in the past two games and has generally played much better. Keep an eye on him.

Zdeno Chara scored his first goal since January 13 in a 3-2 shootout loss to Vancouver.
It was Chara's fourth goal of the season. Michael Ryder had the other Bruin goal. Marc Savard assisted on both goals.

Michael Ryder is rumored to be on the trading block.
Ryder has recorded 12 goals and 20 points in 54 games with the Bruins this season, which is well behind last year's pace of 27 markers and 53 points.

Michael Ryder has just two goals and four points in the past 17 games.
While Ryder has played in every Bruin game this season, it's coming to a point where coach Claude Julien may scratch the veteran. He had a few chances to score Tuesday night, but couldn't break the spell. He shouldn't be on anyone's fantasy roster.

Patrice Bergeron scored his 12th goal of the season as Boston fell to Columbus 3-2 Thursday night.
This was Bergeron’s second game back since injury. Michael Ryder also scored his 12th goal of the season for Boston.

Michael Ryder scored his first goal in 10 games Saturday.
Ryder looked good on a line with David Krejci and Blake Wheeler. It's still been a struggle for Ryder this year with just 11 goals and 19 points through 47 games. He's the type of player that can be productive, but only in a complementary role - he must play with an elite playmaker like Marc Savard, which hasn't happened much this season due to Savard's injuries. Krejci could fit that role, but he's struggled this year, so don't expect a huge turnaround from Ryder in the second half.
