Michael Ryder scored his first goal in 10 games Saturday.
Ryder looked good on a line with David Krejci and Blake Wheeler. It's still been a struggle for Ryder this year with just 11 goals and 19 points through 47 games. He's the type of player that can be productive, but only in a complementary role - he must play with an elite playmaker like Marc Savard, which hasn't happened much this season due to Savard's injuries. Krejci could fit that role, but he's struggled this year, so don't expect a huge turnaround from Ryder in the second half. Source: Boston Globe
