Samuelsson extended his point streak to three games. He has six goals and 12 points in 13 games this season. Alexandre Burrows and Henrik Sedin notched the assists.

Mikael Samuelsson notched a goal and two points in a 3-2 triumph over the Blackhawks Wednesday night.
Samuelsson’s solid start continues. He now has five goals and nine points in nine games to open the season. Steve Bernier and Michael Grabner scored the other goals for Vancouver, with both coming on the power play.

Mikael Samuelsson was moved to the top line in Vancouver on Saturday.
Samuelsson teamed up with Henrik Sedin and Alex Burrows, while Michael Grabner was dropped to the second line alongside Mason Raymond and Ryan Kesler. Samuelsson responded with the winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Minnesota. Samuelsson was already on the top power play unit, so his fantasy value will go up incrementally.

Samuelsson now has four goals on the season after signing with the Canucks in the offseason. Ryan Kesler was the other Vancouver goal scorer.
