Mikael Samuelsson has carried on his strong play since being left off Sweden's Winter Olympic hockey team.
He has notched eight goals and 12 points in 14 games since being snubbed by his home country, leaving the Canucks and fantasy owners very satisfied with the decision. In 16 games prior to the team's roster announcement, Samuelsson had just one goal and four assists.

Henrik Sedin and his linemates had a great Saturday as Vancouver crushed Chicago 5-1.
Henrik Sedin had two goals and an assist, Daniel Sedin had a goal and two assists, and Alex Burrows had three assists. Mikael Samuelsson and Steve Bernier both got goals as well.

Mikael Samuelsson started Wednesday night's game on the third line alongside Paveol Demitra and Kyle Wellwood.
The move was short-lived as he was back on the second unit in the third period. Samuelsson was held off the scoresheet on Wednesday, but has 16 goals and 33 points this season, making him a good fourth winger in deeper leagues.

Pavol Demitra will center Vancouver's third line on Wednesday night.
He will play between Mikael Samuelsson and Tanner Glass, while Kyle Wellwood will serve as a healthy scratch. The game will be Demitra's second of the season after returning from off-season shoulder surgery.

Henrik Sedin recorded one goal and two assists in Vancouver's 6-2 win over Pittsburgh Saturday night.
The Canucks exploded offensively against the Penguins’ third and fourth string goaltenders. Henrik Sedin finished with three points to extend his league lead with 67 points, while brother Daniel added two helpers. Ryan Kesler, Alex Burrows, Jannik Hansen, and Mikael Samuelsson recorded the other Vancouver goals.
