Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 33 shots as the Phoenix Coyotes beat down the Edmonton Oilers 6-1 Monday night.
Bryzgalov continues to impress this season, as this was his 31st victory, ranking him fourth in the league. He has won five of the last six games. If he continues to play the way he has lately, Phoenix could be a very scary team come playoff time. In fact, with this victory they matched their win total from last season, with 36.

Ilya Bryzgalov was saddled with his 15th loss of the season as the Coyotes fell to the Stars 4-0 on Saturday night.
Bryzgalov stopped only 31 of the 35 shots that he faced, which dropped his record to 30-15-4 on the season. With the loss, he snapped his four-game winning streak. Bryzgalov's 1296 saves this season ranks him eighth in the league in that department. He'll be a staple of the Coyotes' squad for the playoff push, so if you are an owner, definitely keep him active in your lineup.
