Patrick Lalime will likely be between the pipes for Buffalo on Saturday.
Coach Lindy Ruff has not officially named a starter for Saturday's game in Ottawa, but Ryan Miller faced several shooters at practice while Lalime rested, indicating that the backup could get the start. Miller has also started the last five contests for the Sabres, including last night's 2-1 overtime loss to Boston. Stay tuned as we will let you know if we hear anything.

Although he played Friday night against the Bruins, Ryan Miller will likely get the call Saturday against Ottawa.
The team has lost a few games in a row, Miller is playing well and it is a short flight from Buffalo to Ottawa. We believe that all adds up to another Miller start.

Ryan Miller made 24 saves in the Sabres' 2-1 overtime loss to the Bruins Friday night.
The loss brings Miller's record to 12-3-2 on the season. Despite Friday night's loss, Miller is still the top goaltender in the NHL to date. He is a must start in all fantasy leagues.

Miller collapsed late in the game, allowing three goals in the final 9:10 minutes of the third period. He's been off to a fantastic start, so we wouldn't read too much into Wednesday's loss.

Ryan Miller earned the NHL's third star of the week.
After an amazing October, Miller has been just as dominant in November as the Sabres continue to dominant the Northeast Division. Miller had a 1.30 GAA and .953 save percentage in three consecutive victories last week.

Miller has been awesome lately as he has won his last three game and is tied for the league lead in wins. He is 12-2-1 with a 1.77 GAA with a .939 save percentage.
