Martin Erat (knee) participated in practice on Wednesday and could return to the Predators lineup on Saturday.
Erat will not play tonight against Carolina but is targeting Saturday's match against Anaheim for his return. He has been out eight days with the injury. Erat is tied for the goal scoring lead with the Predators, so his return to the lineup will be most welcome.

He may be available to play on Thursday, but a return on Saturday is much more likely according to coach Barry Trotz. Erat skated on Tuesday morning at practice and has missed the last three games with a strained knee. He leads Nashville with 27 points in 37 contests this season.
