Garnet Exelby wants out of Toronto, according to GM Brian Burke.
Exelby has played just 32 games out of a possible 54 with the Leafs as he's often been a healthy scratch. The GM will grant him his wish if there are suitors out there for a sixth defenseman that has trouble skating.

 Garnet Exelby-D - Maple Leafs Dec. 7 - 12:14 pm et

Garnet Exelby will play against his former team on Monday.
Exelby has been a healthy scratch in eight of the Leafs' last 10 games. Toronto acquired Exelby prior to the start of the season along with Colin Stuart for Pavel Kubina and Tim Stapleton. The Leafs then dealt Stuart to Calgary for Wayne Primeau while Exelby has been serving as Toronto's seventh defenseman.

Garnet Exelby is expected to be a healthy scratch Monday.
Exelby has played in each of the Maple Leafs' last three games, but he'll go back to the press box to make room for Mike Komisarek's return. Exelby has one assist and 17 penalty minutes in 13 games this season.

 Jeff Finger-D - Maple Leafs Nov. 23 - 9:27 am et

Jeff Finger is questionable for Monday's game with a lower body injury.
Details of the injury aren't clear at this point, other than it is some sort of bruise. Garnet Exelby would likely slide into Finger's spot on the blueline if he cannot play.

 Luke Schenn-D - Maple Leafs Nov. 14 - 1:31 pm et

It is likely that either Luke Schenn or Garnet Exelby will be a healthy scratch for Saturday night's game against the Flames.
Schenn did not play well against the Blackhawks Friday night as he had his pocket picked by Chicago's Patrick Kane leading to a goal. Exelby has also not been very sharp when he has been in the lineup. If you have Schenn on your fantasy squad you are going to have to sweat this one out.

Garnet Exelby will draw back into the lineup to replace the injured Mike Komisarek.
Exelby has little fantasy value as his zero points, -5 rating and 13 penalty minutes in nine games prove.
